VISION : The development of Christian Ministry within our community as an ongoing commitment.

MISSION : Through faith, hope, service and the challenges of our lives, we share in the ministry of leadership in the parish of St Martin of Tours, promoting our Catholic identity and Christian integrity.

PPC FOCUS - TERMS OF REFERENCE

1. To listen to and understand individual and community needs, and help articulate those needs

2. To energize all members of our community to use their unique gifts for themselves and others

3. To support and stimulate activities that will support our Vision

4. To serve as a constructive forum for dialogue

5. To continue to be informed in order to maintain integrity of initiatives

6. To instigate and influence financial decisions that affect the well-being of the parish

7. To instigate and enhance pastoral developments in order to ensure the spiritual well-being of the parish

8. To encourage and empower a shared leadership within our community

OUR ACTION PLAN€“

Work in Progress The Parish Pastoral Council is working through effective, useful and appropriate ways to implement our mission. Our staring points are to listen, to understand what is already working in the Parish, to build links, create and encourage activities that meet particular needs and gaps and to identify opportunities that increase the Parish mission to evangelize.
