Welcome To St Martin of Tours Macleod and Rosanna Parish

alt

The St. Martin of Tours Catholic Parish acknowledge the Wurundjeri people, the Traditional Owners who have walked upon and cared for this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.

Plenary Council 2020

In preparation for the Plenary Council in 2020, our parish has been invited to join with other parishes and the wider community on a journey of listening to God by listening to one another. All Australians are invited to engage in an open and inclusive process of listening, dialogue and discernment about the future of the Catholic Church in Australia.

We are asked to submit answers to the following questions by Ash Wednesday in 2019:

1. What do you think God is asking of us in Australia at this time?

2. What questions do you have about the future of the Church, for the Plenary Council to consider in 2020?

3. Would you like to share a story of your experiences of your faith or the Church in Australia that has shaped you?

Over the next few months the parish will be engaged in a number of activities which will provide opportunities for all members to discuss these questions as part of the journey towards the Plenary Council in 2020. Further information is available on the Plenary Council website:

www.plenarycouncil.catholic.org.au. For further support, either by small group participation or as an individual, please complete an Engagement Feedback Form available from the Church foyer or contact the Parish House for further information.
