OUR 2022 PARISH RENEWAL PROGRAM - WELCOME TO WEEK 2

This week celebrates the role of our parish as an authentic community of faith where people are welcomed, known and loved. It is a place of care, support and outreach  with a clear mission to live the values of the Gospel. This means that we have a responsibility to use our gifts and talents for the benefit of others. Please become involved in one or more of our Groups and Ministries either for the first time or in a continuing role. Take some time to look at the form available at Mass today or on our website. Your involvement will be personally rewarding and a great contribution to our vibrant parish. This weekend we will hear from fellow parishioners who will share with us the impact of faith and St Martins in their lives, and how important it is for us all to make our own contribution to parish life. We thank them for doing so!

PARISHIONER FORUM REMINDER

Everyone is warmly invited to attend our special one-hour Parishioner Forum on Tuesday 31 May at 7:30 pm in St Martins Community Centre. This is the main meeting of our Program and will be an ideal opportunity for you to contribute to the discussion on the future of our great parish.

THOUGHTS FROM OUR RENEWAL PROGRAM TEAM

Why is it important to be actively engaged in our parish groups & ministries?

"It is a practical demonstration of caring for one another; the basic premise of the Gospels."

"It provides growth of self and soul to contribute to Parish Groups and Ministries and to give to others in the Parish Community by being involved."

"We are called to put our faith into action in some way. The more people who contribute in some way, the less the burden on everyone and it keeps the parish functioning."

"Somehow God meets us and touches us as we share with each other and save each other."

We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.
