Message from Fr. Michael ...

David Skinner as a dance facilitator helped those of our Parish Community who gathered last Saturday night to really enjoy the Community Dance which marked our 60th Anniversary.- It was wonderful to see parents and children, interacting with other families/friends to build community.-Every Parish needs initiatives like last Saturday night community dance.-Over the years here at St Martin'€™s Parish there have been Balls and carnivals that have brought people together to eat, drink, dance, sing and celebrate together.

The Eucharistic meal we celebrate here each weekend also helps us to build community- and in the next month we joyfully mark the 1st Communions of over 80 of our parish children, we hope these communion celebrations will be the first of many, many times that our children will come to the table of the Lord.-In this way may they develop a sense of their identity as children of God and members of a vibrant community of faith.-I invite you all to pray for intentions such as these, which will ensure that St Martin'€™s may continue on as a healthy parish community for many years to come.
