Liturgy Team

Mission

We exist to develop for our community, different ways of expressing our relationship with our God.

Format

A group of seven members meet monthly to plan for upcoming liturgies and to discuss new and continuing initiatives in the community pertaining to worship and expressing our relationship with God.- In addition, this group discusses and contributes to the liturgical ministries including: Lectors, Commentators, Sacristans, Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, RCIA, Communion to the Sick, Collectors and Welcomers.

How to join:

New members are welcome to join the Liturgy Team by contacting the Pastoral Associate or Parish Priest.A basic knowledge of Liturgy is required, however formation is offered to those who desire to gain a greater understanding.

Music Ministry

Mission

To bring the gift of music to our community worship, by leading and accompanying the congregation in song.

Format

A small planning group meet monthly to determine the hymns for each Sunday and to look at new resources and improved methods of administrating this ministry.The Pastoral Associate then communicates this information to all Music ministers and invites feedback.Once a month a music practice is offered to learn any new music.

Membership

People of all ages with musical ability.

How to join:

Musicians are invited to contact the Pastoral Associate or any of our musicians to express an interest.
