Catechist Classes

The Catechist Program is for children residing in and worshiping at St Martin's but not attending the parish primary school. Children are required to be in Grade 3 (or older) for Reconciliation (also known as confession or penance), Grade 4 (or older) for 1st Eucharist and Grade 6 (or older) for Confirmation to take part in the program and have received their sacrament of Baptism. Catechist Classes take place on Sunday mornings at 11.00 am, following the 10.00 am mass. It is an expectation that families attend the 10.00 am mass together and those children then continue on to the catechist class which runs for forty-five minutes. Parents and families are welcome to have a cuppa in the school hall with other members of the parish community while their children are in class.
